Nancy Klett
Nancy Klett is Fred’s wife and is an officer in Fred Klett Comedy, LLC. She is the bedrock for Fred’s comedy career. Nancy is a highly regarded emergency room nurse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her laugh frequently lights up a room. Without her backing, encouragement and wisdom, Fred’s comedy career would not have come to fruition.
Gus Klett
Gus Klett, aka Fred Klett IV, is Fred’s middle son. In 2023, Gus started opening for Fred in select events. Like his dad, Gus operates clean. He is a master of accents. Gus is a dynamic entertainer with TV credits on Empire and Chicago Fire, degrees in Acting/Directing/Dance from UW-Milwaukee, playwright and stand-up comedian. Gus is also an entrepreneur; he is the co-owner of Chicago’s newest and hottest dining & drinking establishment, Southport Betty’s.
Derek Klett
Derek Klett is Fred’s brother. Referred to as #7 in the Klett family, Derek recently became Chief Marketing Officer for Fred Klett Comedy. In 2023, Fred realized the business side of his organization needed to better reflect the comedy side and asked Derek to make that happen. Derek graduated from UW-Madison with a marketing degree and has owned or co-owned six businesses.
Stephanie Klett
Stephanie Klett is Fred’s sister. In 2025, Fred and Stephanie are collaborating on a brother/sister offering for organizational, company and corporate events. They will combine Stephanie’s expert motivational and speaking skills with Fred’s comedy.
A brief bio on Stephanie. In the Klett family she is referred to as #9. She survived having nine brothers. She graduated from Beloit College with multiple degrees. Stephanie was Miss Wisconsin in 1992 and was the Bert Parks talent award winner at Miss America – she plays a mean coronet. After her Miss Wisconsin reign, Stephanie became host of Discover Wisconsin (DW) television series. For 17 years she hosted, directed and wrote for DW television (and Radio).
She was snagged away from DW by Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker to become Wisconsin’s Secretary of Tourism. Stephanie dramatically grew Wisconsin’s tourism numbers through her grasp of the industry, intelligence, effusive and warm personality, relentless work ethic and especially her marketing savvy.
After ten years of serving the state of Wisconsin, Stephanie re-entered the private sector and became President & CEO of Visit Lake Geneva. Her results, vision and likeability motivated Lake Geneva to extend a ten-year contract for her services! Stephanie is a highly sought after speaker – she has given over 10,000 speeches.
